Origin
How Rico came to teach this.
Rico coached boxers for ten years before he noticed the bag-work intervals he wrote for fighters worked just as well for the desk workers walking past the gym. He started taking those clients on the side, then full time, then closed the boxing program entirely. The conditioning structure stayed identical. The marketing language stayed deliberately boring. He thinks every fitness app under-counts how much people want a coach who isn't shouting.
Philosophy
Conditioning is about repeating the unsexy thing on day eighteen, not the loud thing on day one. The work is in the recurrence, not the intensity.
A phrase you'll never hear in a Rico session: "Beast mode."
