Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Service and apply specifically to paid UrbanLuxx subscriptions (Pro and Signature tiers). By starting a paid subscription, you accept these Subscription Terms in addition to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
1. Subscription tiers and pricing

For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the price you see at checkout is set by Apple or Google in your local currency and may differ from the USD anchor price due to currency conversion and local tax. For web purchases via Stripe, prices are charged in US Dollars unless otherwise indicated; your bank may apply currency conversion fees.
2. Auto-renewal disclosure
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. Payment will be charged to your selected payment method (Apple ID, Google account, or the card on file with Stripe) within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price displayed at the time of purchase or as subsequently disclosed.
The billing cycle for Pro and Signature is one calendar month. The renewal date is the same calendar day each month (for example, if you subscribe on the 15th, you renew on the 15th of each following month). If a calendar month does not contain that day (for example, the 31st in February), renewal occurs on the last day of that month.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until that date, and you are not charged again. You do not get a partial refund for the unused portion of the current period unless you exercise an EU consumer cooling-off right (see Section 5).
iOS / App Store subscribers
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad → tap your name at the top → tap Subscriptions → select UrbanLuxx → tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation is processed by Apple. You can also access this flow from within the UrbanLuxx app via Profile → Manage Subscription.
Android / Google Play subscribers
Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select UrbanLuxx → Cancel subscription. You can also access this flow from within the UrbanLuxx app via Profile → Manage Subscription.
Web / Stripe subscribers
Open the UrbanLuxx app or website, navigate to Profile → Manage Billing. You will be redirected to a secure Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel, update your payment method, or download invoices. Cancellation through the portal schedules cancellation at the end of the current billing period.
4. Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance by in-app notification and (where applicable) by email. The new price will apply at your next billing cycle following the notice period. You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not agree.
For purchases made through the App Store or Play Store, Apple and Google may also require explicit re-consent to any price increase in accordance with their own policies. If you do not consent, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the then-current period.
5. EU consumer cooling-off right
Consumers in the European Union have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts that allows cancellation within 14 days of the contract conclusion without giving any reason. However, under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content that has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun.
By starting your UrbanLuxx subscription and accessing any workout content, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal. If you have started a subscription but have not yet accessed any members-only session, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days by emailing support@urbanluxx.com with your account email and we will issue a full refund.
6. Free tier limitations
The Free tier is offered indefinitely and grants access to a limited selection of starter workouts and basic progress tracking. We may change the list of workouts included in the Free tier from time to time. The Free tier does not include members-only features such as the full collection, advanced analytics, or Signature sessions.
7. Trial offers
UrbanLuxx does not currently offer free trials. If we offer trials in the future, the specific trial terms (duration, eligibility, what happens at trial end) will be disclosed at the point of opt-in. Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
8. Billing failures
If a renewal payment fails, your subscription status will move to past due and you keep access to members-only content for a grace period of up to 16 days while we (or the App Store / Play Store) retry the payment. If the payment still cannot be collected, your subscription will be cancelled and you will be downgraded to the Free tier. You can update your payment method at any time via the appropriate store account or the Stripe portal.
9. Taxes
Subscription prices are inclusive of applicable VAT, GST, and sales tax where required by law for App Store, Play Store, and Stripe purchases respectively. The exact tax breakdown is shown at checkout and on your receipt.
10. Receipts and invoices
App Store receipts are issued by Apple and emailed to your Apple ID email. Play Store receipts are issued by Google and visible in your Play account. Stripe receipts are emailed to your account email after each successful charge; full invoices and payment history are available via the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from Profile → Manage Billing.
11. Account deletion and subscriptions
Deleting your UrbanLuxx account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Play Store subscription — those must be cancelled in your store account because Apple and Google manage the billing relationship directly. We do immediately cancel any active web (Stripe) subscription as part of the account deletion process.

12. Changes to these Subscription Terms
Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via in-app notification and (where applicable) email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
